Volunteer

There are many things you can do to help our individuals. You can do things like help with laundry, read with someone, help with a craft or other key activities. To learn more about individual volunteer opportunities at Pony Bird and to sign up for a Volunteer Orientation, contact Kelly Feldmann.

Community/Give Back Work Day

Each year businesses volunteer together for the day–an opportunity to use their time, skills and expertise to make a difference in their communities. Businesses work alongside community partners like Pony Bird, at service projects in their community giving back and showing support.

Church/Civic/School Groups

Gather your group and come together to contribute to bettering the lives of those who live at Pony Bird. Volunteer your time, talents and stewardship. This can be working on the grounds, making crafts, reading books to the individuals, performing for the individuals or hosting a fund raiser in Pony Bird’s honor.

Friends of Pony Bird

Bring your friends together and join the Friends of Pony Bird! Friends and family who are members of this group have a mission of supporting Pony Bird staff as well as the individuals. They meet regularly to organize and host a variety of events and activities for fundraising. All proceeds benefit the individuals who call Pony Bird home and their compassionate care-givers.

Pony Bird Pros

Join a group of like-minded people and be a core founder of this exciting new group. Pony Bird Pros (PBP) is being formed by professionals in the area who are interested in endorsing and supporting Pony Bird. The mission of PBP is to educate, engage and empower a new generation of support for the Pony Bird Family with outreach and networking.
What makes PBP so beautiful is that it benefits both parties involved. Pony Bird has the benefit of leveraging their organization into a new demographic for planning and fundraising. The advantages for the members are numerous including opportunities for networking, creating lasting connections and personal and professional development. Most importantly they are making a difference in the lives of the individuals that Pony Bird supports.

Committee /Event Volunteer

As a community event volunteer you can assist with planning the event by serving on a committee or you can be a lead chair for one of the many levels. You may also just want to be involved in the day of the event or help with the tasks leading up to the event.

Share Your Gifts

Our compassionate, well-trained staff give loving attention to each individual, which makes the program unique. The contribution of your gifts can help make the lives of the individuals even more complete. These gifts may include visiting, singing, crafts or any other talents you may have to share. Please consider taking advantage of our open door policy and share your special gifts with Pony Bird individuals.

Our Missouri neighbors can make a monetary gift either online or through the mail.
