Day Services
Day Service is provided to individuals with developmental disabilities that are non-ambulatory and at least 18 years old. Day Services operates Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm, 225 days per year. Day Services participants are involved daily in therapeutic activities that are geared towards achieving individualized goals. Such goals include increasing independence, physical capabilities, communication skills, and choice/decision making. At the heart of all of these goals (and the heart of Pony Bird’s Day Services) is for participants to develop a sense of self respect and self worth.

Day Services further realizes its mission by participants’ involvement in their community. Individuals volunteer and give back to their community in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to: volunteering at a neighboring hospital, delivering food to the elderly in their community, and hosting annual blood drives for the American Red Cross. Being an integral member in the community is one more way that Day Service participants realize their self worth. Please contact Sara Sucharski.
